Meet Dr. Leon Kubicki (Palatine, IL)

Leon Kubicki, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While attending the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Kubicki received numerous academic and clinical awards recognizing his dedication and hard work in pursuing his career in optometry.

During his studies, Dr. Kubicki was the president of the Private Practice Society and a member of numerous student-volunteer clubs. He was also inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor fraternity and the Tomb and Key Honor Society. Dr. Kubicki has also been a proctor for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) to assess new graduates in their certification and licensure.

Dr. Kubicki provides “life-enhancing” vision care to all his patients and is passionate about his mission to help make EyeCare of Palatine a leader in cutting-edge vision care. His clinical interests include specialty contact lens fitting with an emphasis on scleral lens design and multifocal gas permeable lenses, anterior segment disease, and dry eye assessment and treatment.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Kubicki enjoys running, biking, and traveling and is an avid Bears fan.
